As the DevOps Manager you’ll promote and implement the culture of DevOps across the Genius Sports Group. Responsibilities

  • Collaboration with group CTOs and Operations Manager on technical direction, promotion of DevOps culture
  • Ownership of build, deployment and monitoring strategy. Provision of support for product teams and their toolchains
  • Membership of our Technical Board – advising the business on technical opportunities and devising policy
  • Provision and support of tools to further the automation of our delivery cycle
  • Management and technical support of our DevOps Engineers

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Understanding of software and operations best practice – design, performance, scalability, security and privacy
  • Adept at technical communication – both comprehension and dissemination
  • Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure design and delivery
  • Experience with :
  • -Configuration management, CI and monitoring tool(s)
  • -OS administration (ideally Linux, cross-platform skills a bonus)
  • -Build and deployment automation
  • -Code and scripting – proficient in at least one language

  • Monitoring with Graphite, Graylog, Grafana, Check_MK (Nagios), Monitis and Datadog
  • Hosting with VMware and AWS
