We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint, and mitigating climate-related risk exposure to our business.

The Action for the Planet pillar focuses on key issues including:

Waste reduction and technology recycling: Genius is committed to reducing waste and driving our business
towards a circular economy. We are engaging with our teams to make our offices as efficient as possible.

Climate change resilience: Addressing climate change is critical to ensuring a sustainable future. We have committed to reducing our GHG emissions year on year.

Sustainable supply chains: For us, it’s business critical to work with suppliers and partners who share out commitment to a more sustainable future. We are working in our supply chain to make sure that all our new suppliers align with our Genius values.

Our Action for the Planet pillar is led by our ‘Green Genius’ working group, comprised of team members from across the world who meet monthly to challenge the way we operate and implement environmental
efficiencies in our day-to-day way of working.

Our Board of Directors receives regular updates on our climate-related risks and opportunities from our Chief Governance Officer and Chief Risk Officer.

Our aim is to reach and engage with as many employees as possible at Genius in accessible, fun and practical ways to reduce our environmental footprint.

As well as reducing our own environmental impact, we also encourage our team members to play their part and we raise awareness with events throughout the year.
