With 213 national federations, FIBA is responsible for driving the global development of the game.
FIBA wanted to equip its membership with best-in-class technology which would enable them to control their data and grow basketball’s global audience.
However, it required a partner who could deliver and support robust systems as well as the flexibility to cater to leagues and federations’ individual needs.
Tactics
Our partnership with FIBA began back in 2004 with the development of FIBA Organizer, a digital system for the management of any basketball competition format.
In 2008, FIBA requested the development of a tool that would enable it to centralise its data through the real-time collection of statistics.
We subsequently launched FIBA LiveStats, giving leagues and federations of all sizes an official data feed that could underpin their relationships with fans, commercial partners and coaches.
